About the Blog

The title of the blog, “A Curve of Gold,” comes from one of my favorite poems and pieces of music, “Barter,” by Sara Teasdale, set by René Clausen. It describes the many kinds of beauty that can be found and appreciated if we only pay attention. The one that concerns me the most, and that this blog will focus on is “Music like a curve of gold.” I’m thankful for the gift of loveliness and the ability to recognize, appreciate, and attempt to create it.
